The SBA CPA newsletter

Once a month, we send a short, plain-English update on what has changed in tax and accounting, which deadlines are coming up and what is worth acting on now. It is written for Colorado business owners and the people who depend on them.

What you will get

Each issue is short enough to read in a few minutes. Most months it covers three things.

Tax law changes that affect you. When federal or Colorado rules change, we explain what changed, who it affects and whether you need to do anything about it. We skip the changes that only matter to a handful of people and focus on the ones our clients ask about.

Deadlines on the horizon. Estimated tax payments, payroll filings, extended return due dates and the Colorado and local filings that are easy to miss. A reminder a few weeks ahead is worth far more than a penalty notice afterward.

Planning ideas. A practical idea you can use: how to read your own cash flow, what to do before year-end, when an entity change might make sense or how to prepare for a sale. Each one is written so you can tell quickly whether it applies to you.

How often it arrives

The newsletter goes out monthly. When something significant happens between issues, such as a major tax law change or an IRS announcement that affects many of our readers, we may send a brief extra update.
