Our standard
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, published by the World Wide Web Consortium, as our benchmark, and we aim to meet Level AA. These guidelines cover how content is structured, how it looks and how it can be used with a keyboard and assistive technology.
What we have done
The site was rebuilt in 2026 with accessibility in mind from the start.
- Clear structure. Pages use a logical heading order, landmarks and descriptive link text, so screen reader users can move through them efficiently.
- Keyboard access. Navigation, menus and forms can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
- Readable design. Text and interface colors are chosen for sufficient contrast, text can be resized, and layouts adapt to phones, tablets and desktop screens.
- Images. Meaningful images have text alternatives that describe what they show. Decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Forms. Form fields have visible labels, and errors are described in text rather than by color alone.
- Skip link. A “Skip to content” link at the top of each page lets keyboard and screen reader users bypass the navigation.
- Motion. The site respects the reduced-motion setting on your device.
Known limitations
Some content comes from third parties, such as scheduling and form tools and documents hosted by government agencies. We choose these tools with accessibility in mind, but we do not control them fully. If something you need is hard to use, contact us and we will provide the information another way.
How to report a problem or ask for help
If you have trouble using any part of the site, or need information in a different format, please tell us. Email info@thesbacpa.com or call 303-228-3169. Let us know the page address, what you were trying to do and, if you are comfortable sharing it, the browser and assistive technology you use.
We will respond as soon as we can, generally within two business days, and work with you to provide what you need.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is not a one-time project. We review new pages as they are published and test the site periodically with automated tools and manual checks. This statement was last reviewed on October 13, 2026.
