Your tax resolution roadmap
A tax problem feels overwhelming when you cannot see the end of it. Tell us what is happening and we will lay out the steps to resolve it, in order, with the cost of the first step, so you know exactly where to begin.
How we approach a tax problem
- Your case is handled by senior professionals on our own team, not passed to an offshore processing center.
- No pressure and no scare tactics: we explain your options plainly, including the ones that cost you less.
- Each step is quoted in writing before it begins, so the cost never runs ahead of the plan.
Where should we send your roadmap?
Your roadmap appears as soon as you submit. Everything you share is confidential, and a member of our client services team will follow up; there is no obligation.
Your roadmap
A general outline based on your answers, not tax advice. The plan is confirmed once we see your transcripts and notices; each later step is quoted in writing before it begins.

Common questions
Where does every tax resolution case start?
With a power of attorney for each agency involved, usually the IRS and the Colorado Department of Revenue. It allows us to obtain your account transcripts and speak with the agency for you, so the plan is built on what the agency actually has on record rather than on guesswork.
How are the later steps priced?
Most are flat fees, such as preparing a missing return, requesting penalty abatement or arranging a payment plan; audit and appeal work is hourly. Each step is quoted in writing before it begins, once the first call with the agency has shown what is needed.
Can my tax debt be settled for less than I owe?
Sometimes, through an offer in compromise, but the IRS accepts it only when your income, expenses and asset equity show you cannot reasonably pay in full. We evaluate that honestly before anything is filed, and we do not recommend an offer that is unlikely to succeed.
What if the IRS is already taking money from my paycheck or bank account?
Contact us promptly. A levy can often be released once the account is placed in a resolution, such as a payment plan, or when it causes economic hardship, and acting quickly protects more of your income.
